Calvalley Petroleum Company supports 4,137 male and female students by distributing school bags and accessories in three districts in Hadhramaut

As part of its continuous development efforts, school bags and accessories project has been launched at a number of government schools across three separate districts in the Hadhramaut valley and desert (Houra and Wadi Al-Ain – Huridhah – Al-Abar).
Where the beginning was from the district of Huridhah, by targeting 2219 male and female students from four schools (Imru’ Al-Qais Complex – Fatima Al-Zahra Complex – Qarn Bin Adwan School – and Alat School).
The supply was made directly to the schools under the supervision of the local authority, the Department of Education and the administrations of the targeted schools,

The distribution of the bags was done according to accurate statistics revealed in cooperation with the Department of Education and Schools, including from the primary and intermediate levels to the secondary stage.

The inauguration was initiated by the speech of the Director General of Huridhah Directorate, Mr. Bandar Ba’ashar, professionally male and female students with beginning of the new study year, thanking the continuous support from Calvalley Petroleum and hoping that such qualitative and targeted interventions will be repeated in education and society,

The Director of Education in Huridhah Hassan Al-Hindi indicated that the Calvalley Company and the Department of Community Development had provided two school buses, 22 passengers, model 2021 last year and model 2022 at the end of last month, and this serves the flexibility of education and supports its continuity. On the other hand, the Director-General of the office of Ministry of Oil and Minerals (MOM) in the Valley and Desert, Engineer Redha Basif praised the sustainable social development contributions of Calvalley Petroleum. Saud Al-Nahdi, CSR Supervisor at Calvalley Company, pointed out the importance of education and its role in the advancement of nations and societies. Calvalley company believes in the importance of education and based on the company’s social responsiblility towards the people of the concession areas, this project was launched as an extension of previous projects and a prelude to future projects in God willing, calling on the local authorities and the local community to cooperate with the company in all its operations so that we can provide more development projects.

The inauguration event was attended by Musleh Al-Ruwaimi-CSR Coordinator, Ali Al-Attas-PR Coordinator of Calvalley Company, sheikhs and social figures, parents of students, and a number of teachers.
